Do you pay a fee on Facebook Marketplace?
On orders paid through Marketplace checkout, yes. Meta charges 10% per transaction with a minimum of $0.80. The fee is on the whole order: the price, any delivery fee and the sales tax.
A $5.00 item would be $0.50 at 10%, so the $0.80 minimum applies and you keep $4.20. A $100.00 item with 8% tax costs $10.80, because 10% is taken from $108.00.
What percentage does Facebook Marketplace take?
10% of the total order. Some Meta help pages still show an older 5% figure; this page follows Meta’s current Marketplace seller policy.
Are items bought together one order?
Yes. Goods shipped together count as one transaction, so the minimum is charged once.
